Holyrood Palace, Canongate 8.30 - 10.30 Behind the rope exclusive tour to Holyrood Palace. We will enjoy a private tour of the State Apartments before the Palace opens to visitors for the day. This offers a unique opportunity to go behind the ropes in selected rooms and includes the West Drawing Room, which is not normally open to the public. The tour ends in the cafe with light refreshments. Please note the early start and be there promptly please. |

Magdalen Chapel, Cowgate 11.45-12.30 The Chapel was built in the mid-16th century to pray for the soul of Mary, Queen of Scots.The Royal Arms of Scotland and the Arms of the Queen Regent, Mary of Guise, can be seen in the middle window in the south wall of the chapel. The stained glass in this window is the only pre-Reformation stained glass in Scotland which is still intact. The chapel is being opened specially for The Stewart Society. There are many places to have lunch in the Grassmarket which is very close to the chapel.

Moray Estate with the President, the Earl of Moray. 15.15-16.30 Walk through the Moray Feu at the West End of Edinburgh´s beautiful Georgian New Town and learn something of the impact of the Moray family on Edinburgh´s unique history and heritage. Travel and Accommodation |
Edinburgh is busy all year round therefore please book your accommodation as soon as possible. There is a wide range of accommodation to be had in Edinburgh, it is generally slightly cheaper to stay outwith the very centre of the city. Booking accommodation is the responsibility of the attendees and not the Stewart Society. The Royal Scots Club where the AGM and Dinner are being held on the Saturday have some rooms available, please contact them directly if you wish to book one. https://royalscotsclub.com/ In the event of cancellation refunds will be at the discretion of the Council and the President.
