Patrick Stewart 5th of Ballechin
1689. He m. on 13 November 1659, to Elizabeth, daughter of Alexander Lindsay of Evelick, and was father of,
1.Charles Stewart, 6th of Ballechin.
2. Alexander Stewart of Balnabroich, m. firstly, to Christian, daughter and heiress of John Murray of Balnabroich; and surviving her, he m. secondly Jean, daughter of Gilbert Stewart, Commissary Clerk of Dunkeld. He d. in 1741 and was father of,
2a} John Stewart, d. young.
2a} Anne Stewart, m. James Robertson of Balnacree, (he was k. at the battle of Culloden on 16 April 1746). They had issue.
2a} Margaret Stewart, m. at Kenmore, on 31 May 1713, to Thomas Bisset of Glenalbert and had issue.
2a} Alexander Stewart, was a child of his father’s second marriage.
2a} Jean Stewart, bap. at Logierait, on 14 May 1698
3. John Stewart, 1st of Kynnachan, and had issue,
4. Robert Stewart, bap. at Logierait, on 11 April 1676 and became a Writer in the Exchequer in Edinburgh.
5. George Stewart, bap. on 2 July 1677 and d. during the Darien Expedition
6. Jean Stewart, b. in September 1698 and m. John MacLaren of East Haugh.
7. Isobel Stewart, bap. at Logierait, on 26 September 1683.
